Two people are seriously injured after a two car crash at a Bay of Plenty beach.
Police were called to the crash on Waihi Beach Rd just before 12.20pm on Monday, outside the garden centre, a police spokeswoman says.
Two people have serious injuries, and one person has moderate injuries, she says.
A helicopter had been dispatched.
Police are managing traffic, and diversions are in place while the Serious Crash Unit does a scene examination.
