Head to Coronation Park for Shakespeare's birthday. Completely free, the show will be held at Coronation Park, Mount Manganui, with live music from 1pm and the show starting at 2pm. The show will feature selected Shakespeare scenes to honour 'The Bard of Avon' on his 458th birthday. Selected scenes from his best known plays: Romeo and Juliet (1594), Midsummer Night's Dream (1595), Merchant of Venice (1596), Twelfth Night (1599), Hamlet (1600), Othello (1604), and Macbeth (1605).

Finalist for the APRA Best Country Music Song 2021 award, Kendall Elise is performing at the Jam Factory, Tauranga Historic Village, at 6.30pm. Roaming the range from soul stirring country-gothic ballads to full blown barnstormers, the Papakura songwriter launched her second studio record to significant acclaim in late August.
