Police can confirm one person has died and another is in critical condition following a two-car crash.
The crash happened on River Road, Fairfield, Hamilton last night.
"One person died at the scene," confirms a police spokesperson.
"Another person was critically injured.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are continuing."
