Police have named the woman whose body was found at a Coromandel bay at the weekend.
She was Asa Katarina Brink, known as Katarina, aged 51 from Whitianga.
Police were called to Wyuna Bay at 8.40am on Saturday because a body had been found, says a police spokesperson.
There are no suspicious circumstances, and police are making enquiries into her death on behalf of the coroner.
Wyuna Bay is about 5km west of Coromandel town.
