Traffic delays are being reported on State Highway 29, near the Kaimai Range.

According to Google's Live Traffic Reporting, traffic is stalled in both directions of the highway, on the Matamata side of the summit.

A post on the Bay of Plenty & Waikato Accidents Facebook page says there is a two car crash on SH29, on the Matamata side of the Kaimai Range.

A police spokesperson says they received a report atthat a car had been rear-ended on SH29 just after 4.30pm.

"There were no injuries and the caller advised they were reporting it for insurance purposes only."
