Three cars have crashed near Greerton, Tauranga.
Police received a report at 3.25pm that three cars had collided on Cameron Road.
Police say that one person is being transported to Tauranga Hospital by ambulance.
"It appears the person may have had a medical event prior to the crash," says a Police spokesperson.
The crash has happened between Gate Pa and Greerton near Cornwall Street.
