Eastern Bay of Plenty Police have arrested four people as part of Operation Cobalt enforcement activity, targeting illegal firearms and methamphetamine supply.

Police executed the series of search warrants between 3 and 11 November.

"Among the items seized were cash, firearms, large amounts of ammunition, cannabis and significant evidence of the supply of methamphetamine," says a police spokesperson.

"Eastern Bay of Plenty Police are committed to ensuring we contribute to Operation Cobalt by disrupting the supply of methamphetamine and firearms within the Eastern Bay of Plenty gang community.
