One person is suffering moderate injuries after an aggravated vehicle robbery in Otūmoetai where a knife was presented, according to a police spokesperson.

'One person has been arrested and charges are yet to be confirmed,” says the police spokesperson.

'While working to locate the stolen vehicle, a police car was hit by the alleged offender in Bethlehem.

'Officers involved are uninjured.”

Police were called to the scene shortly before 12pm.
