A man is in Rotorua Hospital after a serious medical incident in the Kaingaroa Forest.
The 45-year-old was being treated by St John Ambulance staff south of Rotorua in the Kaingaroa Forest. When his condition deteriorate.
Rotorua based BayTrust Rescue Helicopter with an intensive care paramedic on board flew to the location to help ambulance staff with the man's treatment.
The helicopter crew met with the ambulance crew near Rainbow Mountain where he was stabilised transferred to the helicopter and airlifted to Rotorua Hospital.
