There has been a car under this bridge for nearly two weeks, should have been moved by the police. Hope this wasn't the cause of the crash.

hardly suprising that car has been there for weeks.Dont know why it hasn't been moved before now.Keep thinking I should ring council but seemed pretty obvious and thought police woulve looked into it.

If it caused by the car that was parked there for WEEKS heads should roll. That car has been abandoned there for literally weeks and I don't know why it wasn't removed. Accident waiting to happen.

I phoned 3 times about the grey car on the S.H.

I was told it wasn't a danger.. .NZTA also told me to contact the Police, I said I understood it was NZTA who took care of cars on highways??? no one seemed to be too concerned. I wonder if the owner will be fined now for leaving it there - somehow I'd take a bet - not... the taxpayer will cover it....

Don't worry

Cops too busy handing out speeding tickets - no money in removing a car abandoned on a main highway !!!

Drivers fault??

If the car has been there that long and no one else has hit it, doesn't that say more about the driving manner than the issue of the car being abandoned. I too had seen it there and it was well within the fog line.
