Crash on SH29 Poike

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash with a car near on SH 29 near the Poike this evening.

The crash happened about 5.45pm.

The rider is believed to have suffered leg injuries. The northbound lane was blocked for a short time while the rider was stretchered to the ambulance.

Both vehicles, the bike and a Suzuki car were towed.
