With just one round remaining before the WBOPCA Secondary School Finals, Otumoetai Cadets and Bethlehem College will fight out the Division One title, if they both post wins this Saturday.

Cadets could have a good battle on their hands when they play Tauranga Boys' College Colts at Waipuna Park.

The TBC Year 9 and 10 teams have been in good form in the term one competition and lurk just off the competition lead in third place. If the TBC Colts defeat Cadets they will leapfrog their opponents into a finals berth.

The formbook suggests Bethlehem College should beat Mount Maunganui Gold at Blake Park, however the Mount team will be keen to take the scalp of the competition joint leaders.

In other Div One action, Aquinas College host TBC Blue, TBC White travel to Rotorua to square off with John Paul College, with Taupo Combined Schools at home at the Kaimamawa Reserve to TBC Yellow.

The Division Two scenario sees TBC Cavaliers and Mount Maunganui earning a place in the title decider, if they emerge victorious on Saturday. Mount Maunganui Green face a solid challenge against third-placed Western Heights High School, with TBC Cavaliers playing Cadets who sit in the cellar of the Div Two qualifying competition.

A three way tie at the top of the (four team) Division Three competition, makes for sudden death cricket on the weekend. The winner of the clash between TBC Hagley and TBC Wanderers will earn a berth in three Div Three final, with Waihi College needing to defeat TBC Lords to play for the competition big prize.
