A woman reported missing after last seen in Mount Maunganui on June 18 is safe and well.
Claudia Corbo De Castro made contact with police last night after an appeal went out via the media to try and help locate her.
'The 22-year-old woman from Uruguay who was earlier reported missing, has made contact with police, and is safe and well,” says a statement from police.
'Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.”
