Factory fire in Judea

UPDATED 6.14AM: A fire safety investigator has been called to the scene of a factory fire in Judea.

Multiple calls were received to the two storey building fire around 4.40am.

Northern Fire Communications shift manager Daniel Nicholson says six fire trucks are currently in attendance.

"It's a two storey building, 20m by 10m, used as an auto electricians.

"The fire has been extinguished and the guys are just dampening down hot spots now."

Daniel says fire safety investigator John Rewi has been called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.

Reports are coming in of a factory fire in Judea.

SunLive has received multiple calls about a fire on Koromiko Street.
