Passed away peacefully at Tauranga Hospital on 28 November 2017 (aged 97 years). Dearly beloved wife of Peter for 72 years, dearest Mum of David & Karen, adored Nana of Kirsten & Hayden, Joshua & Rochelle, treasured Great Nana of Isaac, Cruz, Stella, Leila, Te Amotawa and Ihapera. A celebration of Joan's life will be held at the Hillsdene Chapel 143 Thirteenth Avenue, Tauranga on Monday 4 December at 1pm, followed by a private burial at Pyes Pa Cemetery. Grateful thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Tauranga Hospital and Accadia Manor Rest Home for their devoted care of Joan.
