Two people have been taken to Tauranga Hospital after a car crashed into a tree.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash on 11th Ave, near Devonport Road, at 8.20pm.
A police spokesperson says two people were injured in the crash.
Both occupants were taken to Tauranga Hospital, confirms police.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.

It's high time the authorities started fining these bad cars to the max. The fine goes toward paying for the damage the car caused, and the car gets crushed. Bad car.

These bad cars are definitely to blame. It is always them that crash into trees or stationery vehicles or lose control on bends. No human intervention in any os these cases. The same cars don't know not to run red lights. The car makers need to be more accountable :)
