What's On today: Country music

Hi there, and welcome to day two of the long Labour weekend! Today,The New Zealand Country Music Star Awards are held today at Otumoetai College at 1pm (door sales).

It is the premier finals, which will see the usual suspects such as young singers Phoebe Ball, Hannah Cosgrove and Tegan Reid.

And also a special Happy Birthday to Edith 'Edie' Follett who is celebrating her 100th birthday today (birthday on Tuesday). Congrats Edie!
