Fire services are at the scene of a car fire in the Lower Kaimai area.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says one car is completely engulfed in flames.
"The vehicle is in a pull over lane near the Kaimai Cafe.
"Firefighters are at the scene."
There is currently one fire truck at the scene on State Highway 29 says a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson.
