Actor Peter Huany, who plays Henry on the television drama Shortland Street and Tyler Read, who plays Evan, were among those who listened to some of the Bay's aspiring young jazz musicians showcased for the first time this weekend.
The event is an attempt to prove that jazz music is for all ages. Students aged 8-14-years-old debuted at the Baby Jazz concert held at the Historic Village today as part of the National Jazz Festival.

I was actually quite disappointed. There is a huge opportunity to make so much of the historic village but for some reason it always seems to fail. It's the same with the mid winter Xmas. I'm not sure if its lack of vision, cash or the public cant be bothered. The village is a gem but there is definitely something missing.
Great Job everyone!

Well done everyone! How much hard work and effort was put into this event!! Great weekend! Maybe some people should give Event organising a go, to start appreciating what others do for us! The only thing which is missing is people appreciation for what is in front of them!
