The argument that climate science is in fact climate politics is the main theme of man-made climate change sceptic Christopher Monckton who spoke in Tauranga last night.
With other scientists beginning to accept the evidence that there has been no global warming for 16 years, Chris – the 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley - focuses on who benefits from the global warming belief system.
While few are yet familiar with Agenda 21, terms like 'Sustainable Development”, 'Smart Growth”, and 'Renewable Energy”, Chris says they are now part and parcel of both local and national politics.
An online search for some of the key concepts of Agenda 21 reveals most New Zealand local government long term policy has been explicitly implementing Agenda 21 for nearly 20 years, and that it dictates many aspects of people's lives.
The underlying goals and intentions of Agenda 21 makes the global warming, and climate change debate infinitely clearer, says Chris. The motivations, purposes and methodology of those who persist in alarmism on climate change, in the face of the mounting scientific evidence to the contrary and the 16 year ‘pause' in rising global average surface temperatures is more transparent.
As the evidence increasingly contradicts the theory of greenhouse gas impacts on global temperatures the alarm is morphing to climate disruption, climate chaos, extreme weather and other scary stuff, since the temperatures are not keeping in step with rising CO2.
Chris is visiting New Zealand as part of his Climate Freedom Tour and from Tauranga he heads south to Gisborne, Hastings, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Paraparaumu and Wellingon before heading for South Island centres.

Wonder is the opinion will change when water starts to trickle into the shoes as the tide rolls in? That would tend to indicate that 'something' in changing ... add to that of course that mother nature buried thousands of millions of tonnes of CO2 about 260 million years ago (oil, coal, gas mostly) and that is what we are happily dumping back into the air now. The level of CO2 in the air is known about where the trigger point is, that point being reached (as per 260 million years ago) means the single largest mass extinction in earth's history, even more so than the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago. So dream on if you like, the evisdence is there, who cares if man-made or not the effects are "BAD" really bad either way.

No matter who is right about climate change global warming greenhouse gases and the likes we should all be environmentally friendly and stop polluting and throwing the crap into the air after all it cannot do any harm to stop it and it may even do some good.
Politicians don't practice climate change concerns

If they did they wouldn't travel in jet aircraft, let alone first or business class and they wouldn't stay in five star hotels either. Yeah, those five star hotels that think because you don't get your towel replaced every day you're somehow making up for the effects on the envirnoment.
Who cares if natural or not?

End result "if" the climate is changing then humanity is in serious trouble. Does he get that?

Healthy environment, the healthier the people. Too much pollution,no matter what form will make you sick. Bout time people just stop being wasteful, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Waste to Energy Power plants would be Great.
Do you know..??

.....just how many $$ are going out of our pockets to keep this "global warming" (now.."climate change") scam alive and well?..beware people, it is going to be a lot more if these idiots really do get to be believed by the populous in power....
Watch the tide roll in?

As things get a bit warmer the tide will rise (happened before many times) and as things get colder the tide goes out (more ice at teh poles. According to teh cycle of the Earth we should be getting colder now and heading back into a ice age but the opposite is actually happening. The question is why, the answer is simple, something "other than nature" is reversing the natural cycle, the two questions that come from that are ... first what is it? and second and more importantly what will result from it? Nature can tell us from the past what happen before when this pattern rolled out.
Its getting warmer

So if there's no climate change OR global warming then why is the weather stuffed up?

Well that means "balance" on the "level" in all respects, Mother nature changes in this case, common sense being used when natural receives a few more imputs by being placed in the world Mother nature it rebalances herself to a new stable position. The problem for humanity is that this cycle can be nothing but it can be devastating also, earth's history shows that when it is bad then it is really bad, and from many different fronts. A simple example that even the anit global lot can not dispute is: the oceans are getting warmer ... at the bottom of the oceans are billions of tonnes of methane that is held at depth due to the cold tempertures there, a few degrees warmer and all of this bubbles up to the surface then goes "boom" as methane burns ... then it really gets bad ...
The climate has been

changing since time began and it will continue to do so. Unfortunately the greedies of the world have latched onto this and are trying their best to turn it into a money making exercise. Of course pollution should be stopped and we can all play a part, no matter how small, in making that happen, but there is a lot of misinformation out there, all of it designed to take maney out of your pocket and put it into someone else's pocket.

Dear interested parties, This man is no more than a walking blogsite with an agenda (god knows what or sponsored by who) Thousands, i repeat thousands of climate scientist, honest, normal academics around the world agree on the climate change. co2 increases global temp averages. the debate is now on the HOW MUCH WARMING/CHANGE. aka Climate sensitivity. The rebuttal from Myles Allen is here. http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2013/mar/20/response-mail-on-sunday-great-green-con-climate-change USE SCHOLAR.GOOGLE.com Do your own research. here's a good place to start. http://www.pnas.org/content/105/6/1786.full
