Good morning SunLive readers, welcome to Tuesday and another glorious day in this fine city of ours.
Outside it's looking pretty okay, and with the morning cloud expected to clear it should be perfect weather for The Edge Backyard BBQ with Toi Ohomai at Mount Drury and the McDonald's Super Smash Twenty20 cricket match between the Knights and the Aces at Bay Oval both this afternoon.
Kick the afternoon off the right way with The Edge Backyard BBQ with Toi Ohomai which is taking place at Mount Drury in Mount Maunganui, from 1pm-4pm.
Part of Tauranga City Council's summer programme, there'll be a ton of fun on offer during the free barbeque today including entertainment for all the family, music, giveaways and prizes plus a lot more.

While over at Bay Oval, the Northern District Knights face off against the Auckland Aces in round seven of the McDonald's Super Smash Twenty20 domestic cricket competition, which kicks off at 4pm.
Named in the match day squad are Bay cricketers Dean Brownlie (captain), Corey Anderson, Jono Boult and Daniel Flynn.
The Knights also welcome Australian import Trent Lawford, debutant Peter Bocock and a returning Zak Gibson to the ranks as Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Mitchell Santner resume their Blackcaps duties.
Today's game is the first of three home matches for the Knights which are taking place at Bay Oval over the next four days, so get out and support your team and experience all the action, excitement and the big shots.
