Emergency services are at the scene of a crash where a car has crashed into the wire rope barrier on State Highway 2, near Bethlehem.
A reporter at the scene says the car has taken out a part of the barrier on the highway.
"The car is off to the side of the road and police are speaking with the driver."
The reporter says Tauranga-bound traffic is moving slowly past the scene of the crash.
