Live: Nurses 24-hour strike begins

Nurses are striking today after negotiations failed earlier this week.

Nurses are on strike nationwide after voting to reject the latest district health board pay offer.

A further round of talks between the Nurses Organisation and district health boards yesterday failed to avert the industrial action - the first strike by nurses in 30 years.
