Te Puke Highway now open

Te Puke Highway is now open after a crash which closed the road earlier this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Bell Road at 6.54am.

A police spokesperson says two people were injured in the crash.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a car and truck crashed on the highway.
