A male has been arrested after a police unit recognised a wanted male on 11th Ave.
Sergeant Ben Gallagher says the police officers got out to speak to the male when he ran off leading the chase into the water.
'Police would like to thank members of the public who assisted the police by supplying kayaks and lifejackets so the officers could reach the male.”
'The officers talked the male out of the water where he was arrested.”
