A baby remains in a serious condition following an incident at Welcome Bay.
The baby was taken to Tauranga Hospital before being flown to Starship Hospital on Monday after sustaining serious injuries at a Welcome Bay Address.
"Police continue to make enquiries and the baby remains in a serious condition in Starship Hospital," says a police media spokesperson.
"The scene examination continues today."
