A vehicle has crashed into a shop in Tauranga this afternoon.

Ben Maxwell emailed SunLive photos showing a yellow Suzuki Swift sitting up on the footpath, with it's nose in a shop window.

"A Suzuki swift smashed into Chadwick Road Dairy in Greerton."

Police and ambulance service has been called to the scene.
