The Tinman Triathlon is taking place this Sunday, November 10 and road closures are being put in place.

The Tauranga City Council advises motorists that road closures will be put in place from 1pm on Saturday, November 9 to 4pm Sunday, November 10.

Those roads are:

Salisbury Avenue from Victoria Road to The Mall.

The Mall from Salisbury Avenue to Prince Avenue.

Salisbury Wharf car park – the entire car parking area.

'Please note there will be a separate road closure prior to the above closure, to support the arrival of a cruise ship,” says a council spokesperson.

The following road closures will be in place from 5am to 3pm on Sunday, November 10.

The Mall from Prince Avenue to Adams Avenue including the Pilot Bay boat ramp.

Adams Avenue from The Mall to Marine Parade.

Prince Avenue from The Mall to Victoria Road roundabout.

Marine Parade from Adams Avenue to Oceanbeach Road.

Oceanbeach Road from Maine Parade to 230 Oceanbeach Road – between Concord Road and Girven Road.
