One person is seriously injured following an incident at a Surrey Grove, Parkvale address last night.

Police were alerted shortly before midnight to a person that had serious head injuries.

"They were transported to hospital where they remain," says a Police spokesperson.

"Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident and what caused the person's injuries are ongoing.'

Police have spoken to a number of people and are continuing to speak to others.

A scene examination is continuing at the address this morning until about mid-morning.
