Tauranga Covid locations revealed

The Ministry of Health has added three locations of interest from the Tauranga area following a Covid-19 positive truck driver visiting the area.

Contact tracing has linked a truck driver to the current Delta outbreak.

The driver delivers supermarket supplies and had travelled to Cambridge, Hamilton and Tauranga for their work before testing positive.

The three locations of interest from the Tauranga area are:

-Uppercrust Bakery in Mount Maunganui on September 11 from 10.10am to 12.05pm.

-BP Tauriko on September 11, from 7.45am to 9.15am.

-Uppercrust Bakery in Mount Maunganui on September 14. The driver was there from 9.55am to 11.50am.

People who were in these locations at these times are being advised to self-isolate for 14 days after you were exposed at this location of interest.

Test immediately, and 5 & 12 days after you were exposed, says the Ministry of Health.

"Record your visit online or call Healthline so our contact tracers can get in touch."

Deputy Prime Minister Grant Robertson will be addressing media at 1pm today, along with Director of Public Health Dr Caroline McElnay.
