The Tauranga Eastern Link is now open following a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to the crash just before 10pm.
Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency reports the road was closed between the Paengaroa roundabout and Domain Road.
The roading agency reports the highway is now open.
