February is often seen as the month of connection, so it’s the perfect time to think about how we connect with each other as a community.

Last year showed us the power of people coming together. Whether it was standing up for what’s right, raising concerns about local issues, or just lending a hand to a neighbour, Tauranga proved that when we work together, amazing things can happen.

But connection is more than just showing up, it’s about listening, understanding, and building bridges. At Youth Voices Action, we’ve seen how young people are eager to be part of the conversation. They want to share ideas, ask questions, and work alongside others to create solutions that benefit everyone.

At Lobby for Good, we’re focused on making those connections stronger. This year, we’re rolling out new tools and workshops to help people of all ages and backgrounds get involved and take action on the issues they care about. No matter your experience or knowledge, there’s a way for you to have a say.
