Armed police were seen entering a property in Ohauiti this evening.

A witness told SunLive that Armed Offenders Squad was seen conducting a raid on Ohauiti Road just before 7pm.

"They all ran into the property and used stun grenades," says the witness.

Another person emailed SunLive saying there were police conducting a search on Links Ave around the same time.

A Northern Police Communications spokesperson confimed police were executing search warrants in the area.

Police would not release any other information.
