Genre-bending band Six60 are coming to Tauranga next month, but fans of the five-piece band might want to grab their tickets soon.
Six60 had to add another six arena shows to their national tour after tickets sold out quickly for their two Wellington shows, plus gigs in Hamilton, Auckland and Whangarei.

The band consists of Matiu Walters on vocals and guitar, Eli Paewai on drums, Ji Fraser on lead guitar, Marlon Gerbes on synths and samples and Chris Mac on bass and synths.
On Friday, Six60 kicked off their national tour in Wellington and Marlon says there's a great energy amongst the group.
'It's going really good,” says Marlon. 'We've been looking forward to getting on the road. We haven't toured in NZ for nearly a year so it's going to be good to get back out there on stage.
'It was such a cool and unexpected thing to see some of the venues sell out so quickly so soon after tickets went on sale.
'We worked so hard on our latest album and people say it always starts with the music, so I'm hoping the success is down to its quality, which I believe it is.”
Also giving the band another reason to smile was this week's announcement that Six60 have been signed by Capitol Records, which cracks open the door to the North American music market.
Formed in 2008, the founding members of the band met while studying at the University of Otago and took their name from the street address where they lived in Dunedin.
Combining elements of soul, rock, dubstep and drum and bass, Six60 have enjoyed a raft of success with Kiwi listeners for a number of years.
Their self-titled debut album, co-produced by Tiki Taane, went straight to number one in New Zealand back in 2011.
In February this year they released their follow up album Six60 (2) which took almost three years for the band to complete.
'We wrote the album three times,” adds Marlon. 'The previous two times we were almost about to go into the studio to record but we couldn't shake the feeling that bits and pieces weren't perfect.
'It was elements of the sound and the mindset thing; when you have a successful album it tends to dictate what you write and you may attempt to replicate what you think people liked.
'But you forget that you wrote your first album without that pressure, it was about what you enjoyed and what felt right to you. With this album we re-captured that feeling 100 per cent.”
Six60 are known for their high intensity shows and their upcoming gig at ASB Baypark Arena on June 7 will be no different, believes Marlon.
For the band, the aim of their live sets is to bring audiences onto 'their vibe” and create experiences for them.
'We're not separate from the crowd,” explains Marlon. 'We try and get everyone on the same vibe. It's really inclusive shows - definitely high energy – and there's a bit of everything.
'This band wants you to leave with an experience instead of coming along to just listen to some songs. We feed off the crowd and they're always up for it.
'We don't get to Tauranga that often and we probably won't be back for a while, so we can't wait to see everyone.”
Six60, with special guests Mt Eden and Raiza Biza, play the ASB Baypark Arena on Sunday, June 7.
