What's On Today? Cleaning up

Good morning Sunners,

We're in for a bright and sunny day today as MetService predicts a 14-degrees high and no sign of a drop of rain!

Teenagers are cleaning up the community today. Photo: file.

Making most of the fine weather is more than 250 teenagers who are getting stuck in today, lending a hand to people in the community who need help with odd jobs around their properties.

The ‘This is Church' initiative is organised by eight Tauranga churches and encourages teenagers to split into teams and visit pre-organised locations where they will wash windows, clean houses, yard work , clean cars, paint, do odd jobs for schools, accompany senior citizens at retirement villages, and much more.
