What’s on Today?

With the sun set to shine in Tauranga for the first official day of the school holidays, there will be plenty of people out and about.

People travelling around the Bay are being asked to allow extra time on their journeys as road works continue around the region.

Speed restrictions and traffic management will be in place on state highways around the region.

Sites where delays of between five and 15 minutes are possible are detailed below to allow people to plan ahead when travelling.

Areas affected by road works are: SH29A Maungatapu roundabout, SH36 Rotorua to Tauranga, SH2 Tauranga to Waihi - safety works and SH29 Kaimai Range–weather activated speed sign trial.
