Tauranga Boys' College old boy and now New Zealand Black Cap Kane Williamson is not heading to India for the Cricket World Cup with the rest of the team.

The rest of the team left yesterday, but owing to a chest infection Williamson was held back.

He will undergo treatment in New Zealand before hopefully flying out to the subcontinent at the end of the week.

The Black Caps' first match is against Kenya on February 20.
