'Among the more difficult aspects of the role are helping people become licensed to take commercial passengers,” explains council. 'Such as required by tourism and transport operators, and helping people from overseas transfer their licenses.”
The customer services team also helps people figure out what paperwork they will need to provide, adds council.
'Especially when people do not realise how frequently the rules are updated, or how small changes in circumstances of an applicant requires different material.
'If someone asks what they need for a license, they may not realise how varied the requirements are depending on additional details.”
