Get your motor running and head out on the highway to show your support for the White Ribbon Campaign today.
As part of the charity organisation's annual campaign, the White Ribbon Ride 2015 aims to raise awareness and support to end violence towards women and takes place across the Bay of Plenty.

The focus of this year's campaign is on respectful relationships and discussing the way men can build healthy relationships with women to prevent violence.
White Ribbon Campaign manager Rob McCann says this is a fantastic opportunity for men of the Bay to stand up and show they want to stop violence towards women.
'Respectful relationships build a foundation that prevents violence toward women, and what better way to talk about respectful men than to have the White Ribbon Riders attend our event,” says Rob.
'The ride is an opportunity to start conversations and to hear from men who are passionate about ending violence.”
On average, 14 women are killed every year, while there are over 3,500 convictions recorded against men annually for assaults on women. But police estimate that only 20 per cent of the violence is actually reported.
Started in 2009, the White Ribbon Ride now reaches over 80 communities during November and rumbles through town on a motorcycle ride that covers thousands of kilometres.
Rob explains that White Ribbon wants men to take action, which can be as simple as listening and taking stories of violence seriously.
'But we also need to influence the men around us by making it known that we will not condone or remain silent about violent behaviour,” he says.” An easy way to do that is to wear a White Ribbon.
'The White Ribbon Campaign and the ride are a chance to hear from men who have rejected violence, and want to share their messages of love and respect.
'It's a very powerful combination when delivered by tough-looking guys who have served New Zealand, often in dangerous situations as peacekeepers in war zones. Now these men want to bring peace to our own back yard.”
Anyone can join the ride providing they have a current licence, a warranted bike with a minimum engine size of 250cc and are willing to make the pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about violence towards women.
