UPDATED: Both lanes on Takitimu Drive are open following a crash this morning.

No one was injured in the crash.

Police are investigating the matter.

Reports are emerging of a truck crash on Takitimu Drive in Tauranga this morning.

Emergency services are being called to the incident, which is believed to involve a logging truck and a car.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hot line says the crash is on the northbound lane heading towards The Mount.

It is unclear at this stage if there are any injuries.

People are being asked to drive with caution in the area as emergency services deal with the crash.
