Te Akau Ki Papamoa has won the School League Cup at this year's Gymnastic Academy Super Skills day.

Sixty pupils from 12 schools from around Tauranga took part in the event recently with pupils performing more than six events which put their flexibility, core function and other skills says The Gymnastic Academy director and coach Marie Connolly.

'It's a participation event for all levels of ability from beginners to advanced. For primary to college students following a systematic progession. Slow to fast, static to dynamic and simple to complex.”

Marie says students can feel a sense of achievement as they reach their goals and shine at competition.

Te Akau Ki Papapmoa won the School League Cup followed by a strong performance from Matua Primary in second and solid performance by Tahatai Coast School in third.
