Bay of Plenty star and in-form Black Caps batsman Kane Williamson helped lead his team to a test series win over Sri Lanka in Hamilton this morning.
Kane scored 108 not out – his 13th test century – and has broken the record for most runs in a calendar year by a New Zealand batsman.

His latest knock takes his tally to 1172 test runs in 2015, and propels him to the top of the world test cricket batting rankings after his record-breaking year.
The right-handed batsman surpassed skipper Brendon McCullum for the most test runs scored for NZ in year. Brendon set the mark of 1164 in 2014.
The Black Caps wrapped up the series 2-0 with the side chasing down Sri Lanka's target of 188, finishing their second innings on 189/5. BJ Watling was not out on 13.
Carrying a knee injury, Kane scored his 108 off 164 balls, hitting 12 fours and one six. This year, the 25-year-old has scored a test double century, four other centuries and four half-centuries.
He showed his team mates and Sri Lanka how to bat, giving the bowlers plenty of assistance to short pitch deliveries.
Incredibly, 30 of the 35 wickets that fell were from short pitched deliveries.
Sri Lanka's player of the match was Dushmantha Chameera, who took nine wickets for 115 runs.
The Black Caps now head to Christchurch's Hagley Oval where they will play Sri Lanka in the first of five One Day Internationals – one of which will take place at Mount Maunganui's Bay Oval on January 5.

Yes, he is pretty to watch, straight bat and all. A person other team members should attempt to follow in regards just how to bat. Take note Mc Cullum, it is not all bash and then crash
