Whitianga Waterways Arena is rocking with Melissa Etheridge, Huey Lewis and the News and REO Speedwagon turning back the clock for many concert goers this afternoon.

Reports from a SunLive reporter at the scene says concert goers were really enjoying the concert. Weather conditions are perfect with Melissa 'really going off” at the Summer Concert Tour.

Whitianga is one of three tour dates for the rock heavy weights. With an audience nearing 40,000 for the three venues last year. This year's concerts in Gibbston Valley Winery, Taupo Amphitheatre and Whitiagna looks on track to match or better last year's record.
