Pilot Bay has been given the all clear after a after a sewage spill earlier this week.

Council's communications advisor Marcel Currin says tests taken yesterday revealed Pilot Bay is clear of any health issues.

He says health warning signs would be removed today.

Council put the health warning in place on Monday afternoon after reports of sewage near the boat ramp in Pilot Bay.

It's understood the sewer pipe in Adams Avenue blocked and overflowed in to the Bay.
