I am writing to protest against the use of vivisection on animals.
This is because many innocent animals are brutally tortured in the process and it is inhumane to treat animals this way.
They are locked in cages taken from their mothers at birth and the food they are feed in inadequate and unnatural such as hard pellet food.
These animals are operated on while they are conscious, they are injected with deadly diseases and viruses so scientists can find cures, however cures found by using vivisection are extremely unreliable and therefore it is a waste of time treating animals this cruelly.
An example of this is the arthritis drug that was released proved to be very harmful on humans.
This is because human D.N.A is different from animal D.N.A and side effects that may not present on an animal in some cases have huge effects on humans so it is extremely unreliable. Many drug trials that haven't used animal testing have been successful.
There are many other options other than harming animals as brutally as some research labs do. Some other options are test tubes using human D.N.A instead.
How can you help? By firstly boycotting the use of certain cosmetics that are tested in animals, research which cosmetics are non-animal tested and you can have peace of mind that you are using safe cosmetics.
