Tauranga City Council are asking residents to stay clear of a walkway along the Domain side of Takitimu Drive after rain has caused a slip.

A spokesperson says the walkway along the Domain side of Takitimu Drive, between West Street and Hamilton Street, has been closed due to a slip.

The track will remain closed until Tauranga City Council staff have assessed that it is safe to reopen.

Staff will be assessing the site tomorrow.
