Two people are facing aggravated robbery charges following 'good old fashioned detective work” in Tauranga.
A 16-year-old will appear in Tauranga Youth Court on Thursday in relation to an aggravated robbery of the Brookfield Superette on Friday, August 5.

A 24-year-old Tauranga man has also been arrested and will appear in the Tauranga District Court today, charged with the aggravated robbery of the Cameronian Dairy on July 17 and the 14th Ave Dairy on July 18.
'Good old fashioned detective work went into solving these robberies,” says Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner.
'We would like to thank the community for coming forward and helping us solve these offences.”
Police continue to try and identify the people responsible for the aggravated robbery of Brookfield Superette on July 9 and the Busy Bee Dairy in Mount Maunganui on August 6.

Thank goodness! Two barbarians removed from civilisation! I hope they get jailed for a long time. Well done Tauranga Police and our good citzens! :)
