Sorry stands were close enough and as for wooden stand plenty of others have it and that includes Baypark which is even further back from the grounds. My biggest beef is the stop start of play by referees who can not make a decision whether a try or not. Seemed one side as each of the Bays tries went to the TMO while none for Otago warranted that. Very obvious from replays a referee in position should have got at least half. No wonder rugby is loosing audiences when they are subjected to long delays while the TMO makes their decision. Personally the TMO needs to be switched on decision maker who can use the equipment quickly. Bring back some good old fashion rugby where the game flowed and players did not stand around getting cold, possibly a reason for injury.
