One lucky Powerball player has just won a life-changing $44 million with Powerball in last night's live Lotto draw.
The record-breaking Must Be Won draw, one lucky player from Dairy Flat, north of Auckland, won Powerball First Division outright to take home the jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold at Dairy Flat Food Mart and Liquor.
'With the largest jackpot ever on offer in New Zealand, Kiwis had even more to play for this week,” says Lotto NZ's corporate communications general manager Emilia Mazur.
'People love to imagine what they would do if they won Powerball and now one lucky player is about to find out.”

The Strike jackpot was won by one lucky player who takes home $358,175. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Royal Oak Mall Lotto in Auckland.
More than 2.3 million tickets were entered into tonight's Lotto draw.
