Greenpark School playing under the mantle of England won the 13th Western Bay of Plenty Mini World Cup when they beat Bethlehem College Primary on Wednesday.
The win gave the Greerton primary school back-to-back Mini World Cup titles after winning last year's edition of the annual competition, which was initiated by Bay of Plenty Cricket in 2004.
This year's competition saw hundreds of Year Five and Six primary pupils from 24 Western Bay primary school battle it out at Mount Maunganui's Bay Oval and Blake Park.

In front of an army of supportersm, Greenpark defeated Bethlehem, who represented Scotland, in the 2016 MWC Final.

In the playoff for third, St Thomas More defeated close neighbour Mount Maunganui Primary, while St Mary's edged Selwyn Ridge for fifth place.
The highly sought after prize of ‘Best Uniform' went to Papamoa Primary representing Fiji in the MWC, and Arataki School won the sportsmanship award.
In 2004, St Mary's School won the inaugural MWC and would go on to win the annual tournament another five times. Bethlehem College Primary were successful in the second tournament in 2005 and won again in 2007, while St Thomas More also winning on two occasions.
Pillans Point Primary and Greenpark School, who won the MWC for the first time ever in 2015, round out the MWC Roll of Honour.
